Our process for using these tools to create success includes the steps outlined below.

  • Evaluate: Identifying and defining corporate objectives that can be met using Social Media is the essential starting point to ensure that your campaigns deliver results that are aligned with senior management’s targets.
  • Listen: The social media landscape is busy and there is plenty of noise. This makes it a challenge to identify and hear the relevant conversations happening on blogs, social networks, forums, micro-blogging services, news sites, and emerging communities. We listen to millions of conversations about our clients’ brands and products in real-time using advanced tools that identify the relevant activity. This initial phase enables us to set a benchmark for the level and relevance of existing conversations, and identify influential people already involved in the target area.
  • Measure: We do this in real-time to enable us to track and measure campaigns, brands, products and sentiment (positive, negative or neutral), and provide additional context by analyzing results over time, as well as comparisons with competitors.  We share these results on a regular basis to ensure that our clients have visibility to our progress.
  • Understand: Get insight into the conversations happening, who’s involved and where they are taking place. Then, determine the impact on our clients’ products and brands, and if needed, make adjustments to the communications, marketing or sales plans based on what is evolving around us in relation to our objectives.

This lets us engage with key influencers and opinion leaders to build, nurture and manage relationships. We look at how influential they are based on how many people listen to them, what links are established to what they say, comments around their opinions, and how often their opinions are recommended onwards.
  • Create: Develop a plan with the right tone, mix of platforms and programs to engage influencers. An effective social media program does not start with publishing marketing materials on many different channels. It builds a brand’s relationship with customers by acknowledging their interests and relevance in conversations. Define your place in the conversation and create the tools to enhance the discussion.
  • Protect: There is an increasing need to ensure that our clients are represented by their authentic and authorized presence in social media communities.  We register our clients presence on all leading current  platforms and continue to monitor the use of brand names and identities by working directly with the community hosts and technology providers to ensure that our clients are not mis-represented.
